Who we are

A Muslim charitybuilt on knowledge, compassion and service.

Ibadurrahman Educational Hub brings people together to learn, serve and contribute. Our work is rooted in Islamic education, community development and humanitarian service, and it is open to everyone who wants to take part.

From weekly gatherings in Sheffield to relief projects further afield, we try to create environments where knowledge inspires action and communities can grow together with dignity.

Our story

It started witha simple gathering.

What began simply has grown into a broader community initiative, creating opportunities for children, adults and families to learn, connect, serve and grow.

Established

Sheffield

Where it began

  1. 2017

    A weekend gathering in Sheffield

On 1 October 2017 the DERP Project began as face to face weekend meetings. A handful of people, a room, and a shared wish to reconnect with their deen.

  2. 2019

    Children and families join

Parents asked for something their children could grow with. Weekly classes for young people followed, then sessions designed for whole families.

  3. 2021

    Relief beyond the city

The community began raising support for vulnerable people elsewhere, turning Friday collections into practical humanitarian help.

  4. Today

    Ibadurrahman Educational Hub

A foundation with learning hubs, charitable projects and a community that keeps growing, still shaped by the same simple idea it began with.

Our work

Faith, translatedinto action.

Four strands of work, each built around serving people well and creating change that lasts longer than a single project.

Educational hubs

Learning that shapesthe next generation.

Every week our hubs open welcoming spaces where children and adults develop their understanding of Islam, ask questions, build character and strengthen their relationship with their deen.
